Hi, This is not hand grenade's fuze; it is artillery one (ignites the propelling charge). Their threads are identical, but not the purpose. The Kugel is a bit strange. Germans had similar practice ones (see the picture), but with holes on the side. Probably some variation of it with one large hole on the bottom (?). Or a copy of the German ones (?). The walls are very thin, that might be the reason why the bottom has been broken apart too....
