Can anyone identify this?
It looks like a fuze, but I'm not a fuze collector so I'm really not sure.

The markings are as follows...
N30 MKIV, SMP 2/44
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Brad

Hi, not an expert in this field by any means, but what you have is a British No 30 bomb pistol.

I'm sure others will fill you in on the details

regards Kev

You have a superb tail pistol No 30 for aerial bombs of british manufactory WW II.

Isn't this the tail pistol for a British 500 lb Mk II H.E. M.C. bomb?

Regards, Jan
