Hi Joe,
That's an inert model of the french Mi AC Id 51 (Mine AntiChar Indtectable modle 51).
It's a TNT block cast in the form of a mine !
Could be used with the following fuzes : Al PR Id Mle 50, Al PR F1, Al A TENT F1, Al BASC F1.

Were there spacial training fuzes this mines used, and did it use a spotting charge or smoke charge?

I don't known if this mine was used in training session on the field. I think more it was destined on exposition in classroom.

You are alright Yoda, its only for classroom. The training have an iron body, with a possibility to put smoke charge inside.
If I recall, we use to teach this mine in ground ordnance, EOD school, Indian Head. main reason was no metal body, but I might have this one confused with another. I just remember teaching one like it. Old age is starting to take its toll on my brains hard drive
