Evening All,

Any opinions on what this projectile is?

Appears to be an AP-T perhaps a 75mm M-72 used in the M1 cannon?

Approx. 75mm diameter
Marked "T 95" on base

Thanks
Cheers
Drew

The M72 is relatively rare. You don't run across them very often. The M48 HE and M61 APCBC are more common.

But any WWII stuff is a bit rare.

IIRC US 75mm's were APHE rounds were they not?

M61/M62 were APHE-T with the M66 BD Fuze. M72 were, in EOD parlance, "Door Stops", with the main associated hazard of, "DDOT", (Don't drop on toe).
