Hello everyone. Got two of these puppies from german/austrian ww1 positions. Have no idea what it could be. Maybe some sort of fuze cover? The small hole contained some ferrous part that dissapeared in time. The item has 5 cm in length and 1.5 in diameter. Thanks in advance for your help.
