I recently bought a collection of 20 European WWI rifle grenades. In the group was this one that I cannot find any reference to. The body seems to be a French F1. The only markings on the bady are the letters BD cast into the body. The brass section has a safety pin hole and contained fuze components that are missing now. The rod is 5 3/4 inches long and about 8mm in diameter, which would correlate to the Lebel rifle. Any ideas?
