Unknown Stickhand grenade

Hello Ordnance Collectors.
We found (in Estonia) this rusty item what looks to me as an old stickhand grenade. Wooden handle part is missing, but I never seen metal tube inside the wooden handle and never seen metal chain instead cord. By dimensions, it looks like a regular (standard) stickhand grenade. Also..Why there is a fuze well on the head if there is a pull type friction igniter in the stick (with metal chain)? Has anyone ever seen something like this before and can tell me what kind of grenade it is? I would be very grateful.

Welcome in the great BOCN family, Voff.
I'm sure someone here shall give an answer to your request

It looks very much like an exercise grenade, which would explain the replacement of the rope by a chain because of repeated use.
The hole at the top and the longitudinal tube probably received a spotting charge.
I don't find traces of so a Übungsgranate ! More info should be great.
