So here is an interesting one ...
Story goes this was found in someone's grandfathers footlocker. Their grandfather served in WWII as an engineer.

Length: 85.58-MM
Width: 17.66-MM
Height: 17.26-MM

This is kind of a strange one. It is too squared off, and the open bottom is really strange. To top it off the firing pin is very rudimentary. I think it might be a prototype, but that is just a guess. There are no markings.

Any ideas?

I saw that on fleabay and had a bid for awhile.never seen anything like it.its quite a bit bigger than the british no.6 release switch but obviously a version/copy of it.
