I picked up this tail fin that supposedly went with the GAU-8 double band projectile it came with (which we know it does not) at a flea market for $5.00. I have no idea what it is supposed to go to, and the variants used are many. I figured someone here would know at first glance. It’s 5.5” tall, 90mm across fin to fin, seems to have a 3/8” hole on top, and a very deep internally threaded hole at the bottom... the hole bore is 22.44mm. I believe it to be aluminum.
