Unknown Tail????

Hi Mad.
To me it looks like a postwar American bombtail for a 250 or 500 Lb Gp bomb. If you have more details please let me know.
 
This should be tail T127E1 for a bomb 500 lb. Difficult to say from such a picture.

I know one with the lot-code from the year 1965.

It's difficult to judge it from the picture - dimensions would be useful. The T127E1 (M128) Fin Assembly for a 500 lb had a length of 32.65 inches and a diameter of 13.65 inches. The same basic shape for a 1000lb bomb (M19/T142 Fin Assembly) had a length of 46 inches and a diameter of 18 inches. This tail doesn't look that big.
