Can anyone identify this aircraft bomb for me please. A rough idea of the scale can be gathered from tips of the shoes in the bottom of the picture. Unfortunately I have no measurements or weight.

Thanks in advance.

Buster,

I found the attached leaflet on the 9lb Practice Bomb (c.1925). It is smaller than your example but may help nail it down. Over to EODDA. Apologies that pages 2 and 3 are in the wrong order.

It is in a museum in Falkirk, Scotland, so I am guessing British.

Buster,

Herewith the 9-lb Practice photographed in the same configuration as yours. Also showing the Stannic Chloride container. They seem pretty well related, maybe the Falkirk one is a 20 pounder.

Thanks Norman, they have certainly come from the same stable.
