Unknown WW2 zamak primer

A find from the Nijmegen\Groesbeek area in the Netherlands (operations Market Garden and Veritable).

It looks like a WW2 primer, made of zamak (a zinc-aluminium-magnesium-copper alloy).

Diameter is 47mm, height 32mm. No markings.

On the outer edge some iron fragments are present, so maybe it was used in an iron (German?) shell casing.

I hope someone on BOCN can identify this object..
