What drive band (rotating band)? Some one has flogged it for a few pennies worth of scrap!!:tinysmile_cry_t4:

Cheers,

Possibly French?

The driving band "undercut" would suggest possibly French in origen !
First world war goodies are not my thing so I will defer to anyone who has a better insight.

Information about the fuzewell would be very helpful, like diameter and the threads metric/english etc. The fuzewell is very strongly tied to country/area of origin.
