Hello everybody,

I'm here with a strange question !

Who have knowledge about an Light Anti Tank (vehicle) Mine called Type-R ? Nationality unknown.

I'm gone on the Lexpev site and the only type R mine I find is the italian R type AP mine (similar as german schumine).

Has someone heard something other about a light ATk mine ?

Hi Yoda, what is the story behind you needing to know about this type R mine, may give us a clue. Do you know the era ie WW2 or post war. Is this in your collection or does a friend have it ie any pictures would help. It sounds to me it could be an SOE type device.

Good, I have "more" information !!!
My friend read it in a book (I don't know wich one) that it was a belgian mine used during pre or during WW II.

Would anyone have heard of this mine?

I'm going on Lexpev site. The only R type mine I've found is the italian APers mine (see my second post here).

I think your friend says about the "Mine Antichar Lgre Modle R" made in Belgium in 1939-40, also known (mistakenly) as V1.40:
