US 3 Inch Stokes Mortar Round with Mark VI Fuse

I was offered this round for sale today for $300. I was hoping to get some opinions as to its value. Thank you.

Seems a bit high. Does the fuze come off, and can you see inside? Does it seem heavy, like the HE is still inside?

The fuse does come off. I did not pay much attention to the weight.

Nothing like having a couple of pounds of spare HE laying around for "special" occasions.

The top unscrews from the middle, which unscrews from the base. Right hand threads.

Stokes aren't that hard to find, and in better condition than that one. For $300 it should be mint with markings. I recently gave away two field recovered bodies (no fuze). Cleaned up one would have been probably as nice as this one. I'd keep hunting.
