I've often thought that the use of sand in warfare would be an excellent idea.
The amount of times I've gotten sand into my eyes on the beach, and I can't see for bloody hours.....pure genuis, and humane to boot !!!.

The nose fuse looks pretty innocuous, so I assumme this is some kind of Practice or Proof round?.....but then shouldnt it be light blue?

Nice round. I've seen sand filled projectiles and bombs before, but I've never seen a projo marked as such. I guess the closest I've seen would be a couple of 3" Stokes (US) marked as water. Did you get the sand round?

It had already sold when I found it. I have just never seen one before, and thought it would make a good topic for discussion.

Hello,
