Could someone please help identify this ammo can I bought recently. I think it's American and from an Aircraft ? It's 11.5" tall, 9.5" wide and 5.75" deep. It looks like it's made of stainless steel. The markings in red paint read : LOAD AMMUNITION THUS FOR RH GUN and POINTS USE M2 LINKS. I can't find any other markings. Thanks in advance.DSC00243.jpgDSC00242.jpgDSC00244.jpgDSC00245.jpgDSC00246.jpgDSC00247.jpgDSC00248.jpg

After quite a bit of searching, I have found out that this can was used on the upper turret twin .50" machine guns on the Flying Fortress and Liberator Aircraft. There is a roller missing from one of the open ends.
