US M5 Release Firing Device

US M5 Release Firing Device is a standard firing device which can be fitted to mines grenades etc etc
The device is set with a weight on top 5lbs or more which prevents the striker flipping over,,when weight is removed the release plate is forced up by the striker as it flips over under spring pressure and detonates the percussion cap .
I can find no markings on this example
