US MK1 grenade

I recently got a US Mk1 grenade for my growing collection. It looks okay, a little beat up but overall I am very pleased. It did not have a fuze cover when I bought it, and with the help of Justin who put me in contact with a supplier it is now complete. It definetly is not the nicest Mk1 but it nevertheless is a good representative example. Thanks for looking.

Thats a good one hink441 ive seen a lot worse. the cap is not quite right but does the job till you find the real one!!

Paul, thanks for the comment. Yes the cap/cover does not fit exactly. The bouchon lip is bent down on one side and I am not going to try and re-shape the lip. I fear that I would do more damage to the fuze.:tinysmile_eyebrow_t

Dont try to put the lip to right place, you will brake it for sure. It is a nice MKI.
