Really nice to see these old guns restored, but it needs a weather shield over the top.

Thanks, Vlad. That and the canon you show in the last picture look to be new additions from when I worked up there in 2011.
Imagine having to be one of the crew that ride in the seats in front of the shield.

I do not recognize that part of West Point either, but I have not been back in 35 years. There are quite a few of the 1902 guns and their ammunition out there. One is used at the Texas A&M University in College Station for firing blanks at their football games - when they score. It is called the "Spirit of "02".

Steve, if I remember correctly, the Museum and the other buildings you see are outside of the lower gate in the Highland Falls area.
