US WWI 155mm Projectile with Two Drive Bands

This just sold on Gunbroker. I have never seen one like it before. Dated Nov. 16, 1918. Made in Chicago.

Looks like the french "155mm A allongé Mle 1914 GP"

As sgdbdr said, French design, 155mm M14 GP.
If markings on Aberdeen's example are ok, this shell was listed as 155mm MKV for US service.
