USN 40mm Bofors Projectile Green

Anyone know what the correct projectile green is for USN 40mm Bofors ammunition. Usually this green is painted above the copper drive band to the fuze with the fuze painted red white etc. On some rounds the top of the green area has a black band below the fuze. So if anyone know the correct colour or near colour that would be great. Looks like a holly type green rather than a olive drab.

The USN green was call Kelly Green closest FS number is FS34090, the colour your projectile is painted.
Your projectile is HE-I-T the fuze should be red and white

Thanks for the information just what I was looking for. Very similar to a Brunswick green as used on British ww2 smoke 2inch mortar bombs.

Were there any markings on these rounds like ink stamps and stencilling, don't seem to see any when you compare to British Bofors or German.

The markings are on the cases on, the USN Bofors rounds
The UB , UJ is the loading as far as i know their are 11 loadings
UA - HE-P
UB - HE-T-SD
UC - AP
UD - AP-T
UE - BL-T
UF - BL & P
UG - HE-I-T-SD
UK - HE-I-SD
UI - HE-I-P
UL - HE-I-T
UM - HE-T-TDi-SD

Interesting they have the details on the casing rather than the projectile. Thanks for showing the various markings, didn't know there were so many.
