Veitnam Bomblet

Pea Shooter

Well-Known Member
I have a Veitnam era cluster bomblet. What is the designation number, and were they only impact triggered or would any explode in the air giving an air burst? I remember during Veitnam they called them "Liquid Rain". From the looks of steel balls in the piece shown, they look brutal! Thank you, VaughnP1020683Bomblet.jpg

I remember the VC doctors complaning about the time it took to dig all the balls out of there wounded.

Hi;
Just return from a Gun Show and picked up another Veitnam Bomblet. It is a dummy round. It is in great condition. It is a BPU-28/B. It was made in Nov. 66. VaughnIMG_0014Bomblet.jpgIMG_0015 28:B.jpg
