Very Quick firing 6pr - Hiram Maxim

This is very interesting and too bad we can't quite see it more clearly.
The firing rate is great by any standard.
I think the Maxim gun is firing 45 (Martini Henry) ammunition ?
Black powder for sure. Colourized and sound added.
(maybe it's bigger than 6pr, the cases seem longer)

the footage of the 6pr firing is a bit dodgy as the second round keeps repeating the same footage,someone has obviously editied this to make it look good

Well you just can't trust anything, edited back then or later ? But a nice bit of kit in any event - Too bad you just can't quite get a clear
idea of how it worked ?
