VOG-17M grenade

Managed quite a haul not too long back, got ahold of a half dozen VOG-17M's. And these weren't the solid dummy ones eithers, these were full on all pieces there excpet the stuff that makes 'em go boom (thankfully)! When I did get them, they were completely disassembled...so I got a self taught crash course on assembly of a VOG-17M! :hmmmm: Lots of little pieces....and then to have six of them mixed together...well it was about the most fun puzzle I've ever had the opportunity to put together!!!

The irony of my getting ahold of 6 of these, the PG-22 (shown in the rockets forum) and the F1 cutaway is that I just recently decided that my collection was just too all over the place... I have examples frpm World War 1 and 2, Vietnam, Cold war era and modern conflicts....I made the decision to focus on just the two World Wars...and then I get these (and still have some VOG25P's on the way too!!). Well I will be saying goodbye to a lot of my eclectic collection whihc will help fund my new focused efforts! Wish me luck on that!

Do you have any metal links to belt the VOG-17M's together? I'm looking for a couple of links.

Hazord, the belts are 10-round segments. The disintegrating ones are supposedly only for the helicopter variant which is using the VOG-17A round.

Mikhail, your's here is no dummy but a classroom training aid.
Also the regular dummies are made of inert projectiles which are used for weapon tests (the "LAF" round). Loaded rounds with these inert projectiles are the scarcest as they were not used by the military itself.
