Vs 1.6

I am researching the VS 1.6 Italian Landmine. I am wondering if there are two different versions. If you look at Lex's site, and several others, the diameter is 220 or 222 depending on where you look. I have also seen several sites where the mine is 232 in diameter. Normally I would think that it is just a mistake, but it seems like it is pretty common.

Can anyone fill me in on the different models of this mine, if there are any? I thought maybe someone might have a manual on these describing the differences.

I measured three examples of the VS 1.6 and I find them to be 220mm in diameter, but my Jane's book says they are 222mm. I think Jane's is a very reliable source but I can't get 222mm no mater how many times I re-measured them. I would be really surprised if there were size variances in these without it having a different model name. They are designed to be scatterable and it seems like they would need to all be the same size.

I think there are mistakes being made in measuring it. There is also an Italian mine that looks similar, called the SB-81, which Jane's has at 230mm, so maybe some sources have confused it with the VS 1.6.
