The world wide interweb/net is full of maybe & dubious helmet nets ~
I would like to find a real one if that is even remotely possible.
It is for this pure 1943 M1 helmet which if I can link the name written on the chinstrap to a nominal roll for a Canadian Btn.
I could prove that it was issued to a Soldier who was involved in the invasion of Kiska Iseland. We were issued a lot of American
equipment including helmets. The name is French Canadian so my focus is on the Regt. Du Hull, but personal ww2 army records are still
frozen, so it's not easy to do.
