Waterproof Box MD 38

Hello,

Looking for information about these boxes. Also looking for the boxes themselves.

The lid is waterproof with a rubber sealing inside and has reinforcement grooves in the shape of an X.

As far as I know they are US made with the nomenclature MD 38.

The size is about 25 x 25 x 60 cm (10 x 10 x 24 inch)

The closure also exist with a small round hole instead of a square opening.

Little mistake in my question. The box is named MD 39 and there are also half size boxes.

They have been used by the stay behind organisations during the cold war.

Do someone know were to find these boxes for sale?
