Weird mechanical item?

Also i founded lots of these weird looking mechanical items,top have gears and bottom have primer looking shape.
My bet is somekind of mechanical adjusting switch or something like that.Found from the Luftwaffe depot.

Depending on where you found it, it also may be a part of an airplane instrument.

Well,all the other items on this site were luftwaffe items.These mechanical switches were on same scrap piles with electric connectors which 8,8cm cannon firecontrol sockets use.There were many other type mechanical/electronic switches on this location.Propably somekind of firecontrol adjusting switches.
