Wewelsburg Castle

Had the chance to spend a couple of hours looking around Wewelsburg Castle in Germany last week.

I didnt get to see the famous crypt as it was closed for restoration work,,but the castle alone was worth seeing ,very interesting and very imposing

anyone wanting to go here on shall i say to see its recent past will be dissapointed theres very little there to see of that part of its history,,but if you go for the architecture and other displays inside mostly about the development of the site throughout history you will be more than pleased..
