What are valid paint schemes for 47mm Bohler AP projectiles (non-Italian)

I need to paint a 47mm Bohler AP projectile (not Italian) and am wondering if anyone happens to have one with original paint or has an illustration that they could post?
I assume mine is not Italian because it has a groove in the rotating band. I believe a paint scheme for an Austrian, Romanian, Dutch, Finnish, Estonian, Latvian, Swiss or Chinese projectile would be appropriate.

Hi Jeff,

By the look of the driving band I'm pretty sure your projectile is a Dutch APHE for the Kanon Van 4.7cm (47x227R). The Dutch purchased 386 from the Austrian firm Bohler around 1938. The case in the picture was produced by the Dutch firm Daalderop in 1939. The German's designated and used the captured weapon as the 4.7cm Pak187(h). The case is longer than the Italian 47/32 which was 195mm I believe.

The diameter of the base fuze hole on mine is about 34mm.

Projectiles manufactured for the Dutch army have a fuze hole diameter of 34 mm. Paint scheme for Dutch projectiles : black below the driving band, RAL 6006 from the db up to the bourrelet . At the bourrelet 15 mm unpainted and the point grey RAL 7005. The number 2 at the point indicates that the projectile is fitted with a base fuze of Dutch design.

It would seem that can't be a hard and fast rule. The round in the picture I enclosed above was patently manufactured in Holland by a Dutch company (Daalderop) in 1939 and all the headstamp markings are consistent with Dutch case.

In addition to the size of Dutch primers in use in this loading, one other anomaly raises its head. The Dutch used the schokbuis No.46 base impact fuse (right pic) an example of which is attached to the to the projectile/round I originally posted.

Given the fact that the case was quite unequivocally manufactured in Holland, also, the APHE projectile was fitted with a Dutch manufactured base fuse, I think it would be relatively safe to assume that not all Dutch loadings of this particular round had 34mm primers.

I think you are mixing things up. I was talking about the fuze hole of the projectile to determine whether the projectile is Dutch or not, but you are talking about primers and cases.

Strangely, the projectile I have doesn't have any sign of the unpainted band below the bourrelet.

The unpainted band isn’t below the bourrelet but from where the bourrelet starts up for about 15 mm.

Well the airbrush cooperated for a change.
Now my shelf of "anti-axis nations who weren't around long enough to employ an anti-tank gun bigger than 47mm" (currently Poland, France, Belgium, Yugoslavia) - gets a new member.. the Netherlands. Thanks again for your help.
The green I airbrushed on was Testors Model Master Fieldgrau RAL6006 (S6) 21480
