I acquired this grenade in a box of wartime bits and pieces, if anybody could tell me some info on it id really appreciate it, and basically what it could be worth?
Thanks,
Tom

Hi bud,

its a relic No 23 MK 11, probably not worth a lot because of its condition, perhaps 20 if you are lucky in todays financial climate. The markings on the plug not so common but cant make them out.

Looks like an H & T Vaughan Ltd No.23 MkII base plug on a No.23 MkIII or No.36 MkI body (all WWI). Judging from the similar relic condition of base plug and body, it's possible this "incorrect" combination might just be original. Stranger things have been known.
