What grenade is this?

The diameter is 8,5cm I forgot to measure the length. :angel:
To me it looks lige some different parts are put together, but I do not know anything about tank or artillery grenades.

That makes sense it is completely open in the end, easy for the smoke to escape.
But is it from a tank or some light artillery?

The green colour on part of the body would be an indicator of smoke or WP. WP would be a bursting charge. Nice find.

What Burney said -

Shell Screening or Coloured Smoke, B.E., (Base Ejection) Q.F., 20-pr. The reason why yours is open at one end is that the base has been blown out.

Used in the L7 gun, as mounted on the Centurion and Charioteer tanks.
