Looks like the nose of a practice bomb of some sort.

I really don't know what it is but I couldn't help admiring the great photo work for his eBay listing. Seven photos, all from roughly the same distance and angle. I suppose he might have turned it to the other side that looks just like the first side, but I really couldn't tell. Wow.

Perhaps there was a reason all the pics were from a similar angle,I agree with Kahu 1,it look more like the nose of a small practice bomb,the shape seems wrong for a shell/projectile,it would be interesting to find out what it is though,

I e-mailed the seller for a picture of the bottom
looks like the nose from a bomb that has been torch cut off

Yep I would say front end of a practice bomb attached a photo looks like they might have never welded the one on Ebay together
