what is this 247 fuze from, a 79 grenade?

I'm stumped with this. I found a hand drawn diagram of a 79 that seems to have the two step sort of attachment to it on Lex's site - http://www.lexpev.nl/images/useofno247.jpg
But looking at privatelt owned 79's, this doesn't seem to be the case.

hi Dave, yes, the striker pin is a double point if that is what you mean - or a single point split down the middle. The primer pellet, if you mean the bit beneath the striker is copper. Dave
yes, as you say the two step construction doesn't appear to fit in with anything found on the net. Dave

Could it be part of an improvised Home Guard Grenade........there are a number of examples on the IWM site. Nothing exactly the same but in principle a possibility?
