Just my two cents worth, but could it be an anti personnel type grenade. Screw it on a stick and have trip wires going in opposite directions, just a thought.

Yes, when you look at the grenade it would make complete sense. With less than 24hrs to go in the auction I think things will get down to the nitty gritty. I'll be watching......Dano
This one may be interesting to watch when auction approaches closing. Will like to see if a bidding war commences or 1 may be out already due to price...Dano
The funny thing is I think it was in a SciFi movie, like Blade Runner, the Mad Max series, Terminator I II III or Cherry 2000. Kinda like Mr. T's mohawk grenade, from that online fantacy game. Might have to start visiting the local SciFi and Comic Book conventions for new and exciting Ordnance.
$2535.00!! Joe, I'd look at the APG Museum myself but it's closed to the public. They haven't had much in the way of ordnance on display since I've been working up here for the last three years. It's all been stored in a warehouse by the refueling point and getting packed up now for it's trip to either Ft. Lee or parts unknown. Looking at the grenade, the two pins connected by one ring makes more sense than the two separate pull pins. I tend to the maker being US or Brit for the design and the, "S&S", logo. The seriffed "S"es look Anglo, but I could be wrong. Bruce.
