A customer has left with me for sale, a packet of twenty rounds of .303 BALL CARTRIDGES
174 GR. FULL PATCH
Made in U.S.A.
Winchester Repeating Arms Co.
Division of Olin Industries, Inc.
New Have, Conn., U.S.A.
Lot No 2

What is the approximate value of this packet please?

.303

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

Presumably this ammo is WW2 vintage. What is the headstamp on the rounds please?

I cannot speak for NZ, but here in the UK it is fairly common and not worth much more than shooting ammo, say 10. However, being a very early Lot number might increase the value for a .303 collector.

Rick, If you or anyone else does use it for shooting, beware as it is apparently extrememly corrosive.
