What was the Uncle Tom bomb. I have a report of it being tested by the Marine Aircraft Experimental Establishment during WW2
 
Uncle Tom was a large anti-ship rocket projectile (R.P.)

There are a number of documents at the National Archives relating to it. The attached link appears to contains material from some of those documents.

Uncle Tom rockets info is in documents AIR 65/286, AVIA 6/12292 and Flight magazine/ May 22nd, 1947/page 461-463.
I will post them here later.
