Whats this then?

That item has nothing to do with ww2.. it's a Swiss Raketenrohr 59 rocket engine with 'something improvised' mounted on top. The Swiss based this design on the Mecar Blindicide, also used by the Bundegrensschutz. Maybe Joerg can tell us something about this..

I will make some pics from these rockets later this week.

PS the black item on top could be a part of a rubber powderhead.
 
In the advertisement it states; 'some orange powder' on the base of the adapter. This means it could be a powder head training projectile. The engine is gold coloured.. that's also practice. Otherwise it should be grey.

The adapter is the igniter housing by the way.
