WHITEHEAD TORPEDO DELIVERIES TO ITALY

Italy got a total of 1370 Whitehead torpedoes of various models delivered in 50 different orders. Quantity varied from 1 to 120 torpedoes pr order.
The initial order for one torpedo has no date, but the second order of 9 torpedoes was delivered in may 1879.
It seems they had new orders almost every year following that, but the 16 orders after 1903 are missing dates of delivery, with exeption of one order of 109 torpedoes in october 1912 (there were 5 orders more after this).
