hi
it's a ww1 russian rifle grenade ,name zelengoso or zelenski

I've never seen the likes of this one and am glad to find out what it is. Pretty cool with the top whirly copter piece and all...Dano

See in you book page 26:).There is one diffrence between them.On drowing in book grenade has frgmentation outside of the body,my has inside.

Yep, exactly!!
You don't show bottom of grenade for us.... ;)
In bottom was a plug - adapter for the metal rod and for the handle.
This grenade M1904 by Zelensky was an universal hand-rifle grenade.
First model had a chopped body. Main charge was a black powder.
Fuse type percussion - blank cartridge with bullet from paper.
On your photo is a later variant of this grenade i think (different fuse construction and smooth body).
For the shot from rifle, on grenade install metal rod. For throw by hand, on it install a wooden handle. At a shot from rifle, grenade fly away on distance 200 steps.

Have your model a plug in bottom?
If in the bottom part there is no aperture for the adapter, possibly it is later model, and used as hand grenade only.

Very cool rifle grenade and very very rare!!!

Thanks for the photos!
Sorry for my technical english guy's, it's very hard for me....

Cheers!

Eugene.
