"WPSC" Maker's mark ID

Does anyone know who used the maker's mark "WPSC"

It is on a (I think) British 4.5" Howitzer Mark I case, made in 1915.

Thanks in advance for any info.
 
How about Parkes S & Co Willenhall, Staffs. They were brass founders and made shell casings during WW1. Just a stab in the dark so could be wrong.
