Heres the headstamp on the WW1 US 37mm Sub-Calibre case i have. I was told its a pretty rare case.

How long is it ?

There are two lengths, a very short one for howitzers and the regular size 37x145.

Ah I see it is the longer one as per the other post. I do not understand the band around it how ever ? is that a separate piece? How long is it.
