WW1 British Message Rifle Grenade

Hello Everyone,

Not sure if I have posted this before. I have a WW1 British Message Rifle Grenade (Variant of Message Rocket?).

I bought it a few years ago and have never found any information that they made a rifle grenade version and wondered what you all thought.

It appears to be weighted inside the base of the rifle grenade (picture below).

Yes I do have a spare top with it but I got that separately.
