I often see those French finned projectiles with a shot filled head, I had one once too. But I have never seen a good image of the mortar that fired it. Urfaust has an excellent postcard on ebay showing one. Worth picking up a rare view.

Pneumatic Aasen mortar, I suppose ? There is one in the museum "Les Invalides", Paris.
