During a recent visit to the Somme I visited Avril Williams Tea Rooms in Auchonvillers. As well as good food I was able to have a look around her museum which has some interesting items including a 28cm K5(e) railway gun case. Avril kindly allowed me to take the pictures below of a 10cm K04 field gun case which I had not seen before. Pictured alongside a standard brass case for comparison. The combined steel and brass FK16 cases appear on a regular basis but I suspect the 10cm version is far less common.
