A nice pair, just brought in from France. Not my work, but very well done.

Great sections. A couple of years ago I managed to strip the fuze of my 1914 German rifle grenade. It came apart quite well, the only weak point being the alloy central piece
that screws into the nose - it went a bit crumbly.

I would agree about the fuze being over engineered. That's certainly what it felt like dismantling it!
