WW1 Grenade Launcher - Catapult

This example is incomplete but was from a WW1 bombing school somewhere in Ontario Canada. There are several others of these also incomplete. I imagine it was made from some sort of standardized plan or adopted Pattern.
Does anyone know what it might be and what the complete one looks like. Years back I had a complete Spring Catapult, that is now in the Liberty Memorial museum , Kanasas. This type is a totally different design. This example might be available, but shipping would be difficult. I don't own it. But if the design can be identified I image this is very restorable as what is there is almost mint condition.

That is a Leach Trench catapult. Patent number 7710/15. Originally designed and submitted in 1914 it required some changes to allow it to throw a heavier weight. Finished in 1915 it would throw a 2 lb weight about 200 metres. Lots more information in TGRM Vol 2

I don't have this information;
can somebody post or send me the relevant info. I have no idea how this item should look complete. Is it restorable ?
