ww1 manufacturer id please

This plug was from a 6inch trenchmortar ,Its marked 8/16 and No1,
the marking im interested in is very faint and appears to be..
GUMMER LIMITED LONDON,
I cant make out some of the wording due to crust,but was wondering if anyone had more info on this maker.
