Looks like a 3" RP 25lb AP Mk2 with the threaded boss missing.Is it about 14 inches long?

it has no markings it is 12 inches high and 3.5inches diameter.
is it ww1 or ww2~?

Looks like a 3" RP 25lb AP Mk2 (thats a 3 inch rocket projectile, 25lb armour piercing head) with the threaded boss missing.Is it about 14 inches long? ok then 12 without the threaded boss.
WW2 British is the answer i think you are looking for.
